Totally Rad Deftones Concert Review!

Deftones played at the Viejas Casino last night near San Diego. I headed down, as always, stoked to see 'em. Deftones are one of my favorite bands ever and, as you know, etnies is co-sponsoring their current US tour. Upon arrival, I had a bit of press pass drama (this happens all the time for any of you who might want the glamour job of a journalist) and wasn't able to get backstage credentials for some good photos, so instead, you can check out my totally awesome blurry ghetto cam shots from 55 miles away!

Despite that malarkey, the show was awesome. Deftones always kill it. Period. For those of you who have been longtime fans, or like the early albums, they played a ton of stuff off Adrenaline and Around the Fur--a few songs I haven't heard them play in a while. Tonight is the LA show and I'm hoping the switch up the setlist a bit and also hoping to grab some better flix for y'all to check out before the weekend. Wish me luck!

Jun 30, 2007I was at both shows in SD and LA. Deftones are my favorite band. Any idea what music they were playing in between the bands? The singer was a girl and I'm trying to find out who they are. Thanks
